The Home for Life styled by House Beautiful is a striking new design, which can be built in any environment and is suited to maximise views of beautiful landscape surroundings. The angular, architectural, contemporary design allows maximum light in through its stunning glazed façade.
Designed to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer, the house can adapt to suit the changing seasons with the inclusion of the latest, most innovative insulation and construction materials. Two expansive roof garden areas provide a clever solution for outdoor space, especially useful for cities where land is expensive and in short supply.
The house is ultra-modular and transportable, and can be moved to a pre prepared site within 24 hours. The Home for Life, styled by House Beautiful, will tour the UK throughout 2015 where it will be completely reconfigured and adapted to appear at the Ideal Home Show Scotland in May before being transformed into a single storey dwelling for the Ideal Home Show Manchester in June.
The 2000 square feet design features 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Although open plan throughout, there is a clear narrative for use of the space defined through interior styling by House Beautiful.
Stylish and contemporary, the Home For Life styled by House Beautiful has been designed for the way we live now and combines multi-functional living areas with private spaces.
Open-plan, spacious interiors make the most of the stunning glass frontage, maximizing the feeling of light and space, whilst bedrooms situated to the rear of the property allow occupants to enjoy more privacy.
Highlighting the streamlined yet cohesive look of the layout, the interior styling features a modern pastel palette energised by stunning and original wall art. Colour has been used to create focal points and living zones within the large spaces. Ingenious furniture pieces, including a desk that turns into a bed, provide innovative and practical solutions to the dilemma of creating flexible living accommodation that is streamlined and uncluttered.
Separate living zones have been screened off for parents, grandparent and young adults and their child showing how up to four generations can live happily side –by- side. Alternatively the extra space works as spacious guest or temporary accommodation for extra family and friends. Two front doors mean that different generations can come and go without disturbing the peace and rhythm of other family members.
